ATTENTION FOOTBALL PARENTS!

Attention Parents!
Early Out Today!

Tomorrow!

DLE Attention Junior High Cross Country Parents!

Tomorrow (9/11) there is an Early Out at 1:30. Here is the High School schedule!

We are again at an unhealthy level of AQI this morning. We will keep students indoors to the greatest degree possible and windows closed. Mr. Schalk and I will assess the AQI later in the day and make a determination on outdoor practices.
-Mrs. Crofutt

Tonight!

Attention!
Early Out tomorrow!

Elks Annual Hoop Shoot! For more information please contact Dan Riddle 406-240-3054.

With a current AQI of around 200, PCHS will keep all students indoors today with the exception of moving from the main building to the VoAg building and the bare-necessity farm chores. We will watch the levels throughout the day and make a decision on afternoon outdoor practices and the JV football game. Our decision making index is:
0-120: No limitations
120-150: Limit of one hour on outdoor activities
151+: All outdoor activities postponed
We use a PM 2.5 tracker that is located on the HS building and run through purpleair.com. Another source we look at is airnow.gov, however their closest tracker is in Butte and as you can see from the picture below, there is a wide range of readings in Butte. We do look at averages over a range of hours from both to help track patterns and make the best decision possible for the health of our children.
