Picture Retakes next Friday!

Parents- we will open enrollment for Driver's Education on Monday, November 4 at 8am. The cost is $260 and the first 21 students to pay that fee will be enrolled. Please come to the main office to enroll. *Remember that students must pass all of their 1st term courses in order to be eligible to take this course. We will keep a waiting list of students, and anyone who does meet this requirement when we check grades January 20th, will have their money refunded and the next student on the list will be enrolled in their place. We will be using semester grades to make this determination.

Hello students and parents! We have finals this week, so here is our schedule and some important information: Thursday: - Regular classes in the morning -Finals for block classes for 3 & 4 period (modified blocks will have regular classes) Friday: -Finals for block classes for 1 & 2 period (modified blocks will have regular classes) -Afternoon is blocked off for students who have finals to make-up with a teacher. If your child has everything finished by the end of 2nd period, then they will be released for the day (busses will not run until 3:15). If they need supervision until then, please contact the office. Further Information: - Students enrolled in a study hall do not need to be present when the final is schedule for that period - Students who are TA's need to check with their supervising teacher to find out if they are needed - Students enrolled in Internships and WBL need to check with Mrs. RK for instructions. - Friday is the end of Quarter 1 for modified block classes (English, math, Freshman 101, health enhancement), but the end of Semester 1 for block classes. -Honor roll will be run twice: January and May. Here's the District Tournament Bracket for Saturday, November 2nd! While PCHS is hosting this event, activity tickets cannot be used for District games.

Tomorrow night (10/29), PCHS is hosting a District Play-In Game: PCHS vs. Darby @ 6pm. PCHS will be hosting the 6B District Volleyball tournament on Saturday, November 2nd as well. Unfortunately, PCHS Activity Tickets don't work for District games.

Attention Parents! Early Out Today!

Powell County High School will be honoring their Senior Fall Athletes Thursday night (the 24th) at the home volleyball game against Arlee! (Football players will be honored Friday night at the home football game). All Senior athletes and their parents/escorts should be to the gym by 6pm - Go Wardens!

Attention Parents! Early Out Tomorrow!

Hello PCHS Parents! This coming Wednesday, all students in grades 9-11 will take the Pre-Act. Please see the info below: -Students will be released after testing due to the 1:30 early out. -Seniors who are not taking the ACT do not need to come to school this day. Seniors who are retaking the ACT will start at 8:00am in the Ag building. Prohibited Items: Cellphones, smartwatches, other electronic devices that aren’t the student’s Chromebook. No reading materials No pens, highlights, or other utensils Scientific calculators Hats Food & beverages (may be kept in the hallway for the break) Allowed Items Fully charge Chromebook Pencil If students are sick on the day of the test, we will have a make-up session on October 28th.

Red Ribbon Film Contest! "Life is a Movie Film." Grades 6-12 Pre-register using the QR code on the flyer. Videos must be more than 1 minute and less than 3 minutes long. Videos are due to Amanda Bohrer @ ReACT by pm on October 18th. Videos will be shown and judged on October 24th @ 5:30pm at the Rialto. This is a free event for everyone to attend.
