A big shout-out to the Ag-Ed welding students on a very successful weld certification test last week. Seventeen students made the trip to Kalispell to take a weld certification test at Flathead Valley Community College, testing for about 8 hours. Mr. Lombardi would like to recognise a few students: Oscar Mogensen was the youngest student from PCHS to ever take the test. Hayden Grigsby had a great cover weld to finish out a very good test weld. Special note to Tristan Johnson, who tried for the hardest certification any student from our school has ever done, and he came very close to qualifying. Tristan was a student aid in the class this year and did a wonderful job - many of our students can credit his guidance with their success this year. Other students turning in a good showing were Bo Daniel, Chris Wooldridge, Blake Symes, Clayton Larson, Wyatt Havens, and Baylee Fortner. Eight students earned an AWS welding certification: Cade Barker, Ole Beck, Rhyan Coleman, Van Hansen, Derek Jones, Tamu Lombardi, Levi Wons, and JT Perkins. Congratulations!
Please start cleaning out your gym locker if you have one! Anything left in the school at the end of the year will be either thrown away or donated!
Here’s today’s joke of the day: What did the volcano say to the mountain? “I lava you.”
